             CJ's Classic Cars  

	A family owned business run by classic car enthusiasts father and son John and Greg Dobbins.              John a founder member of the Triumph Sports Car Club of South Africa decided upon taking early retirement from industry 10 years ago to make his hobby his full time occupation.  After initially working from home it was decided in 2000 to move to the present premises at 172 Bernie Street in Kya Sands Randburg.
Greg a VW qualified auto technician left his dealership in 2002 and joined John to make up this father and son team.              Triumph cars run in the team’s blood and between them they have over the years owned examples of most of the post 1950 Triumphs produced.              All types of mechanical work are undertaken on classic cars ranging from complete body off restorations to routine servicing.              As members of the Triumph Club one of the goals of the owners is to assist in the survival of the Triumph marque in South Africa.              Specialities of the business include the fuel injection system of the TR5, TR6 and PI Saloons, and the fitting of 2500 6-cylinder engine to Stags.              Recently completed refurbishments and restorations include a MK3 Spitfire, TR6, and Dolomite sprint, Volvo PI800S, TR7 V8, Alfa GT Junior and Mini Cooper.  Current restorations include a TR6, MK1 Spitfire with super chargers (available for sale mid 2007) and TR7 V8.
